LEADERSHIP

Rev. Elton A. Williams
Rev. Elton A. Williams born in Bryan, TX to Ms. Delores “Jo” Williams an amazing woman of God and anointed musician. He joined College Hills Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Pastor M.H. Harris. He accepted his calling to the
ministry May 28, 1995, during an after-hour fellowship at College Hills Baptist Church.
After the passage of Pastor Harris, he united with Christ Holy Baptist Church and was ordained by Pastor Bennett Blake and served as an Associate Minister. He moved to Jackson, Mississippi and joined Progressive Missionary Baptist Church as Associate Minister under the leadership of Pastor Authur A. Sutton until 2009. He moved to College Station, TX to care for his mother and became Associate Minister at his home church, Washington Chapel under the leadership of Pastor Ernest E. Garvin. As God continued to position him with God fearing mentors and pastors, his desire to spread the word opened opportunities for preaching and teaching until he was called to Macedonia Baptist Church of Millican as Pastor, October 2025. A truly humble and dedicated servant who loves God, His people and His word. Proud husband of Dr. Carolyn Jamerson Williams of Palestine, TX.

Dr. Carolyn J. (Jamerson) Williams
Born and raised in Palestine, TX to the parents of the late Earl L. and Myrtie M. (Smith) Jamerson. Her dad was the musician for the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Palestine and would often place her in his lap as he played the piano. Her dad and mom were singers, and he also played the harmonica and guitar. Her mom served as youth director of the Palestine Bowen District Association for more than 40 years. She began playing the piano at five years old. She also began singing at an early age and playing the organ. Given the strong Christian foundation from her parents and pastors, she seeks the wisdom of God to spread His word through her music ministry. A dedicated and grateful musician whose ministry consistently edifies her God given gifts through worship and missionary work.
Other than her parents, she was blessed with opportunities to enhance her skills and abilities as a participant in the Longview Chapter of the Texas Mass Choir, James Cleveland Gospel Music Workshop of America, V. Michael McKay Songwriters Inc. workshops. Each county she worked in with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Extension Service, she shared her musical gifts as a servant in various Baptist and Methodist Churches.
My spiritual victory comes from God’s power through prayer. Looking forward to the mighty hand of God and His purposeful kingdom building plans at Macedonia Baptist Church.
